The Fine Print (Terms and Conditions). There's really nothing "fine printish" about it. The MyLaptopGPS 300% Guarantee is subject to the following terms and conditions. Simply put, the key premise is in the guarantee itself, "if your laptop, protected by MyLaptopGPS™...." For the guarantee to apply, you have to actually use the system properly. We will require:
Why do we require these simple provisions? Because they simply establish that you are actually using the system and are engaging law enforcement. That's it. And if you are actually using the system, your machine will never be stolen--or if it is, we'll recover it and/or your data. We 300% guarantee it!
| 1) | MyLaptopGPS™ to be installed on your machine. You may view the status by logging into your account and clicking the MyLaptopGPS tab. |
| 2) | That your protected unit has contacted the MyLaptopGPS™ servers within 15 days prior to the theft. That is, the unit had been checking in (and we can thus see that it was functioning when the theft occurred). You may check the status of your unit, and its activity, by logging into your account. |
| 3) | That your protected unit have a SafeTag™ prominently affixed to boldly warn potential thieves. Your account in MyLaptopGPS™ supports photographs of items, so you must simply upload a snapshot of your laptop showing the SafeTag™ on it. Do this when you first install and set up the system, and you're done. It takes 20 seconds. |
